  Anyone Dfd for seeing 'new light' before GB did?

  i would be interested to know if anyone knows of someone who was dfd for apostasy for not agreeing with the society, only for it to be brought out as 'new light' years later...and what, if anything, they did about it..etc?

  hi...can someone post me a couple of paras from awake 1st of mar 2004....its the first study article and its paras 6 and 7...the subject matter is about christs return (i believe).

  thanks...i only have the cd rom to 2001...... oh..hold on...is it the first article if it has an a after it in the days text?

  Looking forward to the resurrection of your 'loved ones'?

  the witnesses cite this as one of the greatest attractions of their faith...who does not want to see the ressurection of their loved ones?

  but wait a minute....surely the closest relationship...between 'loved ones' is man and wife?

  and reading the wt literature, they are pretty careful not to mention that relationship in the resurrection discussion, because of course they cant answer the question as to whether husbands and wives will be reunited in the resurrection...because of that damn scripture which says about resurrected ones not marrying or being given in marriage.. so, they wrap it up in the broad terminology of bring able to be 'reunited with your loved ones' and hope nobody notices that they never refer to the marital relationship.

  in the sept 1st watchtower, an article entitled: 'mennonites search for bible truth', i came across this paragraph...

  ' in bolivia, for instance, an estimated 38.000 mennonites live in numerous remote colonies, each with different rules of conduct.

  some colonies forbid motor vehicles, permitting only horses and buggies.

  On the Ministry

  there were 5 of them, one brother and 4 sisters, at least one of them a pioneer, engaging in the field service opposite where i was cleaning windows the other day.. .

  it was comical but sad to see the lengths they were going to to avoid knocking at the doors of the houses.. .

  there was a row of about 8 houses, all attached, so very little distance between each door.

  i might be a bit green on this one....but no one has ever given me a satisfactory explanation of how all the millions of kinds of insects survived the flood....any thoughts?

  Did you ever experience Holy Spirit?

  i was a jw for 40 years.

  although as an individual/cong/body of elders holy spirirt was prayed for, i cannot think of one moment when i thought..right now i have gods spirit acting upon me.

  it was never described adequately for me to completely understand and i suspect that others felt the same, yet everyone talked as though they knew exactly how it worked.
